Solace Behavioral Health is a rapidly expanding multidisciplinary, private psychiatric and mental health practice. We provide comprehensive and compassionate mental health and wellness services throughout central Florida. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions which affect adults and young adults. Our clinicians utilize an integrative model that provides comprehensive, personalized treatment plans based on our patient's needs.
We are looking for a dedicated, motivated, enthusiastic Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor who wants to make a difference in the community and impact the lives of patients. Preferred ART or EMDR certification.
Areas of Responsibility: The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following areas (subject to change):
- Assesses patient's needs, abilities and behavior using a variety of methods including interviews and direct observation of behavior
- Integrates social, medical and psychotherapeutic data in order to form a treatment plan and provide appropriate interventions (therapy, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, skill training, etc.)
- Establishes short term and long term treatment objectives
- Encourages the patient to talk about and explore their feelings and behavior
- Devises and monitors appropriate programs of treatment including psychotherapy, collaborates with staff and directs supportive care
- Offers treatment modalities for difficulties relating to mental health problems such as: anxiety, depression, end-of-life issues, addictions, coping with chronic or acute pain or injury, social and inter-personal concerns and challenging behaviors
- Maintains complete, accurate, and current records of all clinical services rendered, includes initial evaluations, progress notes, summary notes, discharge summaries and all other necessary documentation
- Provides consultation to other professionals, encourages compassionate care integrated with psychological perspectives of treatment
- Consults with other treatment members to identify potential psychosocial problems
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions

- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and policies.
Qualifications: MSW from an accredited school of social work
- Licensed as a LCSW/LMHC in the state of Florida.
- License is in good standing with licensing body RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide patient-centered care on an interdisciplinary team
- Work in collaboration with interdisciplinary team to provide, monitor, assess, and negotiate all aspects of treatment
- Assess and provide therapeutic treatment for individuals and groups
- Maintain clear, concise, accurate and timely documentation of patient’s treatment
- Provide education and consultation regarding health treatment issues to providers
- Experience working with clients with PTSD, ADHD, ASD, anxiety and depression.
- A mindfulness-based orientation
- A deep understanding of working with trauma, addiction and attachment issues.
- Must have EMDR or ART certification.
Salary: $75,000 /year (potential to earn more)
Schedule: Monday to Friday - in office
