About Job

About Company:

Our mission is to provide high quality ABA therapy in underserved Indiana communities. We strive to be a resource for local families and schools, providing training about autism and ABA therapy, information about local speech, OT, and PT providers, diagnosing physicians, and autism advocacy groups. In addition to supporting our clients, families, and community members, we are committed to providing a safe, rewarding, and enjoyable employee experience, as none of this is possible without a talented, dedicated, and motivated team of RBTs and BCBAs.

About the Role:

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges through the application of behavior analysis principles. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care. Additionally, you will provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Ultimately, your work will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for clients and their families, promoting positive behavioral changes and skill development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active BCBA certification.
  • Clear background check.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Safety Care Crisis Prevention Certification (or experience implementing crisis management strategies)
  • Familiarity with Catalyst and/or Central Reach data collection and analysis software.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and best practices in behavior analysis.
  • Monitor client progress and make data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide training and supervision to RBTs and other staff members to ensure effective implementation of behavior intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to promote generalization of skills across different environments.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include strong analytical abilities to assess client behaviors and develop effective treatment plans. Communication skills are essential for collaborating with families and team members, ensuring that everyone is aligned in their approach to care. Leadership skills will be utilized when supervising RBTs, guiding them in implementing interventions and providing constructive feedback. Additionally, proficiency in data collection and analysis will be critical for monitoring client progress and making informed decisions about treatment adjustments. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with specific software, will enhance your efficiency in tracking and analyzing behavioral data, ultimately leading to better outcomes for clients.
