Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families. This role involves providing therapeutic support, crisis management, and advocacy for clients facing various challenges, particularly in the areas of behavioral health and child welfare.

Duties

• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and resources for clients.
• Mentor and support clients in navigating social services, including Section 8 housing assistance and Medicare resources.
• Implement crisis management strategies to address immediate client needs effectively.
• Facilitate workforce development programs aimed at enhancing clients' employability skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.

Requirements

• Experience in child welfare, childcare, or related fields is preferred.
• Proficiency in behavioral health practices and crisis intervention techniques.
• Strong mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining client confidentiality.
• Knowledge of community resources related to social services is advantageous.
