Description:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and inspecting for damage.
- Properly label, store, and organize materials and products in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and update records to ensure accurate stock levels and inventory accuracy.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and shipping requirements.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move and transport materials.
- Ensure that all outgoing shipments are correctly labeled, packaged, and documented.
- Stage pallets of goods in preparation for shipment or storage, ensuring proper arrangement and stability.
- Use banding equipment to secure pallets and prevent shifting or damage during transportation.
- Verify that banded pallets are properly labeled with accurate shipping and handling information.
- Load and unload materials and products onto and from delivery trucks or containers, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
- Utilize warehouse equipment to move goods and place them in designated storage areas or prepare them for shipment.
- Ensure that loads are balanced and secure to prevent damage during transit.
- Store materials and products in designated areas according to warehouse layout and inventory management practices.
- Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained and safety requirements for specific types of materials.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, ensuring that all materials are stored safely and that walkways are clear of obstructions.
- Complete and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and receipts.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues with materials to the Warehouse Supervisor or relevant department.
- Order fulfillment, and other warehouse activities as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and according to manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
- Work closely with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Assist in training new employees and providing support to team members as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any issues or concerns.
- Report to work at the scheduled time, work as scheduled and is seldom absent from work.

- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling and documenting materials.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is advantageous but not required.
