Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients by promoting positive behaviors and helping them achieve their developmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA therapy plans tailored to each child's needs.
• Conduct assessments and collect data to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in care and support.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in developing care plans that address the unique needs of each child.
• Provide support in social skills development, communication, and daily living activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, particularly those on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of ABA.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
• Background in special education or patient care is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and data protection is essential.
