Genesis Counseling Center is seeking full time staff with Resident in Counseling Virginia license to provide best-in-class client care to therapy clients in person and online. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: individual and family therapy, opportunities for group therapy (DBT, child therapy), professional presentations, and community outreach. Applicants must have completed a Masters in Counseling degree, seeking LPC licensure, and have current Resident in Counseling license in Virginia. Applicants must display strong written and verbal communication skills, have sound problem-solving and analytical skills, and be able to work professionally under pressure in a team environment. Multi-tasking, time management and interpersonal skills are required. Computer skills, writing skills and flexibility necessary.

Seeking master level Residents seeking LPC supervision hours while working toward Virginia licensure. This position provides continued education and professional development under the close supervision of state approved LPC supervisors. Direct supervision as well as weekly group supervision and didactic trainings in a team environment is provided as part of benefit package. No phone calls, please.
