Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counseling and support to individuals and families, particularly focusing on those with unresolved trauma and borderline personality disorder. This role requires a strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities, including dialectical behavioral therapy and crisis intervention, as well as experience in clinical settings.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine individual needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, skills training, and behavioral therapy.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, including those dealing with PTSD, SUD, or developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care, including case management and coordination of services.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including EMR systems for record-keeping.
- Engage in clinical research activities to contribute to the advancement of mental health practices.
- Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
- Offer support in home and community care settings, enhancing access to resources for families.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.
- Provide supervision for clinical trainees.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Current LICSW licensure required.
- Certified Supervisor.
- Experience working with children and families, particularly in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and medical records management.
- Strong background in psychotherapy techniques such as dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and Christian counseling preferred.
- Experience in crisis management and intervention strategies is essential.
- Knowledge of special education systems and working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Pay: $36.89 - $44.43 per hour
