Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counseling and support to individuals, families, and groups. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions for clients facing various challenges, including mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, and addiction issues. The Outpatient Therapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and client goals.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on behavioral health, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and crisis intervention.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and utilize EMR systems for record-keeping.
- Engage in case management activities to coordinate care with other service providers and support systems.
- Provide therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices (cognitive behavioral therapy & motivational interviewing)
- Work with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, geriatrics, and those requiring special education services.
- Stay updated on clinical research and best practices to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensed to practice in North Carolina as an LCSE, LCMHC, or LMFT)
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis.
- Experience in crisis management and intervention strategies.
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,500.00 per year
