Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, special education, and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing, designing, and implementing behavior intervention plans to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral and developmental needs of clients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on data-driven assessments.
- Provide direct patient care through one-on-one therapy sessions and group interventions.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
- Train and supervise staff in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within educational and community settings.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
- Familiarity with special education practices and behavioral health interventions is preferred.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to behavior modification strategies.
- Knowledge of medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance is required.
- Previous experience conducting diagnostic evaluations is highly desirable.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of applied behavior analysis.
