About Job

Client Care Positions

We currently looking for Client Care Coordinators to add to our team! The Client Care Coordinator position works in collaboration with our Veterinary staff, veterinary assistants, veterinary technicians and all areas of the hospital to provide Angell clientele with excellent clinical and client service. This impactful role provides daily opportunity to make a positive difference in the quality of life of our patients and clients. Ideal applicants will have experience in a hands on and/or client service role in a veterinary clinic or hospital, animal shelter/humane society, or other animal related field. Relative experience in a human medical position is also welcomed.

At Angell we have developed close-knit, high-performance client service teams who take pride and ownership in running our non-profit veterinary hospital. Our values-based, dynamic culture is unique, offering high engagement roles with more flexibility and growth opportunities than most practices. Our client service teams play an integral role in managing the flow of information between our veterinary staff and clients.

If your dream job is to work for an organization where your work is an important part of a respected, mission-driven, and compassionate non-profit, this may be the career change you are looking for.

We are looking for applicants who:

  • Recognize the significance of the human-animal bond,
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Have proven excellence in client service,
  • Have knowledge of principles and processes of animal handling/patient care,
  • Focus on operational/organizational excellence,
  • Demonstrate patience and empathy, strengths needed for this position.

WHO WE ARE:

MSPCA-Angell is a national and international leader in animal protection and veterinary medicine and provides direct hands-on care for thousands of animals each year. Founded in 1868, we are the second-oldest humane society in the United States. Our services include animal protection and adoption, advocacy, humane education, law enforcement, and world-class veterinary care.

Angell is recognized internationally as a leader in animal medicine and has the reputation as one of the finest veterinary teaching hospitals in North America. Angell serves the greater Boston and scenic New England area as a primary care facility, a 24-hour emergency hospital, and as a tertiary referral center.

WHY APPLY TO ANGELL?

Enjoy excellent benefits and a consistent schedule that allows for a work-life balance while also finding purpose and meaning in your work. Our positions are a great fit for applicants who want to grow their veterinary client service career or transition their skills from other fields to work alongside the best veterinary doctors in the country.

The number one priority of Angell's staff is treating patients with the one-on-one care and compassion that each pet deserves. Our deeply experienced doctors have helped to transform veterinary medicine. This depth of medical knowledge is paramount in the care we provide, but so are the "goodnight" texts our Client Care Coordinators send to our clients with photos of their pets settling in for the night, and the behind-the-scenes snuggles our team share with patients when they need extra TLC.

OUR BENEFITS:

We have a very strong, competitive salary - which is commensurate with education and experience. Our compensation package includes health, dental and life insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, uniform allowance, annual shoe allowance, paid holidays, sick, and vacation time, employee discounts for pet health care and pet food, and free on-site Boston parking!

Apply today if you are looking for a fun and collaborative environment where you would be a valued member of our team.
