A K-12 school is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a full academic year contract position in Waukee, IA. This role offers the opportunity to support student learning and well-being through psychological assessment and intervention within a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students to identify learning needs and disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and consultation services to support students social, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations regarding special education.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide prevention and intervention programs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid school psychology certification or license in the state of Iowa.
  • Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations.
  • Strong skills in assessment, data interpretation, and report writing.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws related to special education and student rights.
