Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a vibrant Oakland, CA school setting. This contract position spans the full school year and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student learning and well-being through comprehensive psychological services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and individual student interventions.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement tailored support plans.
  • Provide counseling and consultation services to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Assist in the development of individualized education programs (IEPs) and support compliance with educational regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid California credential or certification in School Psychology.
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings preferred.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws related to special education.
