A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming contract school year, running from August 25th through June 12th. This role involves supporting a K-12 student population by conducting psychological evaluations, writing comprehensive reports, and providing expert consultations to faculty, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to assess student learning, behavior, and emotional needs.
- Develop detailed psychological reports with recommendations tailored for individual student support.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to offer consultations and guidance on intervention strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain compliance with state and district regulations regarding assessment and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification is required.
- Proven experience working in K-12 school settings is preferred.
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Familiarity with current best practices in school psychology.
