We are seeking a compassionate hospital social worker to join our team, providing emotional support, counseling, and resources to patients and families during difficult times.

• Performs social history assessments and develops social service plans.
• Handles crisis situations related to emotional, social, and economic stresses.
• Assists with discharge planning, follow-up care, and home environment evaluations.
• Provides documentation and participates in treatment team conferences.
• Supports out-of-town families with lodging, transportation, and other arrangements.
• Ensures patient rights, processes organ donation requests, and manages involuntary commitments.
• Collaborates with healthcare providers to facilitate care coordination and information exchange.
  
  

Work requires a Bachelor's in Social Work or related field; Master's and licensure are preferred, with 2+ years inpatient medical behavioral health experience. Basic computer skills are necessary. This is a temporary, in-person position.
