This position offers an opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to serve in a K-12 elementary school setting in Joliet, IL. The role involves providing essential social work services to a caseload of 25-35 students, supporting their social, emotional, and behavioral development within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to address student needs.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with district guidelines.
  • Advocate for students and connect families to community resources when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Social Work License/Certification.
  • Professional Educator License (PEL).
  • Experience working with elementary-age students in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

  • Position Duration: Contract from August 14, 2025, through May 22, 2026.
  • Hours: 20-25 hours per week, approximately 2.5 days weekly.
  • Location: Joliet, Illinois.
