Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess either a strong background, or fresh in the field in behavioral health and social work, with some experience in crisis intervention, supervising mentors, and Medicaid billing. This role involves providing support to individuals and families facing various challenges, facilitating access to resources, and promoting mental health wellness within the community.

Responsibilities :

• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure care for clients.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance in clinical practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Advocate for clients' access to services such as Section 8 housing assistance and Medicare benefits.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in social work.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution; LCSW licensure is required.
• Experience supervising staff or mentoring interns is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
