A K-12 school in Arvada, CO is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contract position during the upcoming school year. This role involves supporting student mental health and academic success through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to address student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote positive academic and behavioral outcomes
- Participate in meetings related to student progress, such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with school staff, students, and families
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and prioritize tasks
