A K-12 school in Madison, AL is seeking qualified professionals to fill positions as School Psychologists and School Psychometrists for the current school year on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background in educational psychology who are committed to supporting student learning and development through assessment, evaluation, and intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for students K-12
- Administer and interpret standardized tests to identify learning strengths and needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with state and federal regulations
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Licensure or certification as a School Psychologist or Psychometrist as required by the state
- Experience working within a K-12 educational setting
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and psychological testing procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school personnel and families
