Position Summary:
Join our mission-driven team at Child and Family Services, where you can focus on what matters most—providing quality care without the burden of insurance billing. Our EAP Counselors deliver short-term, solution-focused counseling and support to employees of contracted companies and their households. This role includes meaningful clinical work and organizational consultation in a flexible, supportive environment.
What Makes This Role Unique
No insurance billing—ever. Spend your time doing clinical work, not paperwork.
Diverse and engaging work including short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and workplace consultation.
Flexible schedule, up to 10 hours per week including 1 evening.
Key Responsibilities
Provide short-term, confidential counseling to individuals, couples, and families.
Deliver crisis support (phone or in-person) and respond to critical incidents onsite as needed.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EAP CRM system (currently EAP Odoo).
Participate in weekly one on one clinical supervision with the option to participate in clinical group supervision.
Required Qualifications
LMSW or LMHC (NYS Licensed).
Skilled in mental health diagnostics, crisis intervention, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
Experience with individual, couples, or family counseling.
Strong documentation and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and diversity in clinical care.
Preferred Qualifications
LCSW or LMHC with 2+ years post-master’s clinical experience.
Prior experience in an EAP or workplace wellness setting.
Familiarity with organizational systems, trauma-informed care, and workplace consultation.
Experience leading trainings or wellness seminars.
Work Schedule
This is a temporary part time position from September 1st through January 31st. Up to 10 hours per week, on site. Including 1 - 2 evening. Hours may be adjusted based on program needs and staff availability.
Hourly Rate of Pay: $30-$33 per hour
