We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to join a supportive educational team serving high school students. This full-time position involves a balanced mix of assessment, consultation, intervention, and participation in school-based teams to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations using multiple methods and sources.
Prepare clear, professional reports aligned with best practice standards.
Present findings to educators and families in an accessible, actionable format.
Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
Collaboration and Consultation:
Partner with educators and families to develop effective strategies addressing academic and behavioral challenges.
Facilitate communication between school staff, parents, and community providers.
Serve on educational planning and problem-solving teams to support student development.
Intervention and Prevention:
Provide direct and indirect support to students, staff, and families to address behavioral and learning needs.
Design and implement targeted interventions to promote academic achievement and school adjustment.
