Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist to support a school district near Newburyport, MA for the upcoming school year. This full-time role focuses on conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to determine special education eligibility for students from PreK through 12th grade.
Position Overview:
Full-time, onsite role
Assess students for eligibility for special education services
Write detailed psychological evaluation reports
Evaluate areas such as learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral development, and mental health needs
May include evaluations for students in out-of-district placements
Qualifications:
Valid Massachusetts Department of Education School Psychologist License or Certification
Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of assessment tools and data analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Deep knowledge of the Special Education eligibility process
