Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker to join our team working in community and school based settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical social work and is skilled in crisis intervention and management. This role involves working with individuals of all ages and families to provide support, counseling, and resources to enhance their well-being and address various challenges they may face. Our Social Workers will play a crucial role in advocating for patients, particularly in areas such as child welfare, addiction counseling, mental and behavioral health services and workforce development.

Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Provide crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
- Offer addiction counseling and support for clients struggling with substance use issues.
- Facilitate access to behavioral health resources and services.
- Mentor and supervise QMHS staff or interns, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to coordinate care for clients.
- Community and school based therapy schedule.
- Engage in workforce development initiatives to help clients gain employment skills and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and case management activities.
- Advocate for the rights of clients within the child welfare system.
Skills
- Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
- Experience working with behaviors youth.
- Supervising experience is preferred for mentoring QMHS staff effectively.
- Familiarity with childcare practices and child welfare policies.
- Understanding of Medicare regulations as they pertain to Behavioral Health.
- Experience with reading and implementing treatment plans.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with Patients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
