Diverse Bilingual Student Services
- Pre-K through 12th grade psychological support for ELL populations
- Multi-categorical special education services across cultures
- Trauma-informed care and crisis intervention in native languages
- Transition planning and life skills support for immigrant families
- Students with various disabilities from Hispanic/Latino communities
- Complete comprehensive bilingual psychoeducational assessments
- Design culturally appropriate individualized intervention strategies
- Provide virtual counseling and therapeutic support in Spanish/English
- Navigate cultural factors in IEP meetings and special education processes
- Implement school-wide mental health initiatives for diverse populations
- Ensure compliance with ELL and special education regulations
- Coordinate with bilingual families and community resources
- Master's/Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid Nevada teaching certificate with school psychologist endorsement
- Professional proficiency in Spanish and English
- Minimum 2 years of experience with bilingual/multicultural populations
- Knowledge of Hispanic/Latino cultural values and practices
- Experience with translated assessment instruments
- Strong advocacy skills for diverse student populations
