Job Title: Licensed Therapist (Skill-Based, Health-Minded Framework)

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Suite 149, 15225 N 40th Street, 85032)Organization: Groundwork by Red Mountain Email: Jenn@groundworkcare.com | Call/Text: 480-243-5469 www.groundworkbyredmountain.com

Who We Are

Groundwork by Red Mountain is a trauma-informed, health-minded behavioral coaching and therapy program that helps individuals and families shift longstanding patterns and build emotional mastery. We combine licensed counseling with real-time coaching and structured coursework to get people the skills they need—fast—so they can stop cycling through crisis and start living with clarity, self-trust, and connection. Therapists will know how to

-Use therapeutic modalities for 1-1 counseling

- AND-

-Learn and be able to deliver a step by step, tested skillset to clients of mental health tools

Clients will have the opportunity for learning about independence in their mental health until they have achieved the new therapeutic muscle. The goal is them not returning to their aspect of what caused a behavior (if their situation is actionable). Therapist will be supportive and guide for the non (1-1) counseling time by a Behavioral Coach to ensure clients reach outcomes of their own less-healthy behaviors. Many of our clients are actively going through a situation and need to be strong as well as listened to.

The Role

We’re hiring a Licensed Therapist who is passionate about helping people create permanent change. You’ll work within our Groundwork model—a hybrid of therapy and skill-based coaching—to help clients gain traction with accuracy, care, and permanence. Our focus is to stabilize, teach, and empower. You’ll support clients in understanding their emotional patterns and build tools that promote health, self-regulation, and transformation.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide individual and/or group therapy using a structured, curriculum-aligned approach
  • Collaborate with our coaching staff to create consistent, aligned care
  • Support clients in understanding trauma, attachment, sabotage cycles, and core emotional triggers
  • Integrate somatic awareness, nervous system education, and health-minded practices
  • Focus on function, skill acquisition, and future-oriented growth—as well as when traumas arise, traditional counseling with emotional insight
  • Participate in client care team meetings and progress reviews
  • Depending on the issue and client, we wish them to reach stability and independence with as few sessions as possible—because success is exit, not dependence

You Are…

  • Licensed in Arizona (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD required)
  • Experienced in trauma work, family systems, and/or recovery models
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in clients homes, using a hybrid coaching + clinical environment or in office.
  • Health-minded—understand the connection between physical and mental resilience
  • Skilled at helping people gain insight and apply it
  • Focused on creating permanent, real-life change, not long-term emotional looping
  • A clear communicator with a warm, grounded presence
  • Organized, ethical, and values-aligned

Why This Is Different

  • We don’t pathologize except for the education of the client—we empower
  • We don’t keep people stuck—we help them move forward
  • We don’t wait years for insight to turn into action—we teach tools that work today
  • Our model bridges clinical expertise and real-time transformation

What We Offer

  • A structured, skill-based clinical environment with a passionate mission
  • Competitive pay and flexible hours (full-time or part-time)
  • A collaborative team of health-minded coaches and clinicians
  • Space to use your strengths and grow into leadership
  • Training in the Groundwork method and full support for your clients’ care
