About the Role
We are hiring a Licensed Psychologist (LP) to conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental differences. This role is perfect for a clinician who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and passionate about making a difference.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct autism and developmental assessments using tools such as the ADOS-2, ADI-R, CARS, or DISCO
- Share diagnostic findings with families in a clear and compassionate manner
- Complete comprehensive written reports within 7 days of each evaluation
- Offer follow-up support to guide families toward appropriate next steps
- Serve as a Licensed Qualified Autism Service Provider (LQASP) per NC Medicaid requirements
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, coordinated care
- Contribute to clinic audit readiness and continuous quality improvement
- Follow all HIPAA and ethical standards for clinical practice
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology or a related field
- Active North Carolina LP or LPA license
- Experience with autism evaluations and standardized diagnostic tools
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently and compassionately in a team setting
- Previous clinic-based experience is preferred but not required
