Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing therapeutic support to individuals facing various mental health challenges, including chronic pain, addiction, and behavioral issues. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical practices and a commitment to improving the lives of our clients through evidence-based interventions.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Provide inpatient counseling services, focusing on chronic pain management and behavioral therapy.
• Utilize psychopharmacology knowledge to support clients in understanding their treatment options.
• Engage in addiction counseling, helping clients navigate recovery pathways.
• Collect and analyze data related to client progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ICD-9 coding standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients, including pediatric populations when necessary.
• Participate in ongoing research initiatives to enhance therapeutic practices and outcomes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Experience in inpatient settings preferred; familiarity with chronic pain counseling is a plus.
• Proficient in behavioral therapy techniques and psychopharmacology principles.
• Strong skills in data collection and analysis for treatment evaluation.
• Knowledge of ICD-9 coding for accurate medical record keeping.
• Experience working with pediatric clients is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development.
