What you'll do:

The Caseworker plans, coordinates, and implements the direct treatment and overall management of clients on their caseload. The Caseworker is responsible for the overall management of each client and foster family, providing support and care. Ensuring the well being and safety of all children will be essential.

  • Participation in the pre-admission screening, Intake and Placement of client referrals.
  • Participation in the development, monitoring, and ongoing implementation of Treatment/Service Plans for each client on his/her caseload.
  • Coordinate implementation of the Treatment/Service Plans with all members of the client’s treatment team.
  • Schedule regular sessions with clients on his/her caseload working toward problem resolution, enhancement of interpersonal skills, and to reinforce the work of, and adjustment to the foster family.
  • Schedule regular sessions with each assigned foster family to supervise, teach, train, motivate, and reinforce their work with the clients including the preparation of an annual evaluation for each foster family for whom he/she is assigned.
  • Act as a client advocate and liaison with other professional service providers in the community and within the KidsPeace organization.
  • Prepare and complete all documentation, reports, statistical information, and additional file requirements for clients and foster parents as per program policy and state mandated regulations.
  • Attend and testify at court reviews and judicial proceedings as required by state mandated regulations.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree - Human Services field preferred.
  • Previous experience in child welfare, case management or case management preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
