Job Summary:
Join our team as a School Psychologist, supporting early childhood education through expert psychological assessments, screenings, and child development guidance. This in-person role focuses on Pre-K/EC students, covers an FMLA leave, and requires experience with Linder’s Play-Based Assessment and strong early childhood development knowledge. Ideal for school psychologists who excel in early intervention, case management, and collaborative teamwork.

Contract Length: 21 weeks with possible extension (if you like)

Shift Details:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x7.5-hour days (08:00 AM – 03:00 PM)
Lunch: 30-minute paid, duty-free lunch
Block Schedule: No
Guaranteed Hours: Full-time

Requirements:

License:
Professional Educator License (PEL) from ISBE required

Experience:

Experience with Linder’s Play-Based Assessment
Experience working with young children
Strong understanding of child development

Preferred Skills:

Leadership in child find team meetings
Case management for early intervention transitions
Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) participation

Responsibilities:

Conduct 40–50 developmental screenings and 10–15 full case studies
Lead weekly child find team meetings for screening review
Coordinate transitions from early intervention using play-based assessment.
Support MTSS and address referred student needs
Collaborate with educators and interdisciplinary teams to support Pre-K/EC students
Provide in-person psychological services across multiple domains
