Who We Are
Juniper Mountain Counseling (JMtC) is a well-respected and rapidly expanding mental health agency in Bend, OR. We are a Certificate of Approval (COA) site under the OHA, noted as one of the fastest growing businesses in Central OR, and are housed in a new award-winning facility. Our robust and well-developed internship program, mentors and supports the next generation of providers, building up the mental health workforce in Central Oregon. Additionally, we supervise the formation of counselor associates and engage our licensed professionals and clinical supervisors as valuable members of our staff.

Job Opportunities
Adult Trauma & Couples
Seeking a skilled mental health counselor who can bring their expertise and a true desire to work with adults struggling with issues related to trauma that has significantly impacted their quality of life. This counselor will engage and support adults with evidence-based interventions/techniques that will support and promote their healing.
Additionally, this counselor will have similar expertise in working with couples to resolve conflict in healthy and healing ways. Demonstrating, teaching, observing and engaging couples in evidence-based approaches which empower them to gain valuable insight and learn new ways of being in relationships.
Requirements:
- Training and practice in EMDR, Brain Spotting, IFS, Gottman, Imago or other related approaches is most desired.
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively with a team in an agency setting.
Requirements:
- Training in family & group therapy, DBT, CBT, ACT, Play/Art therapy and EMDR or other trauma focused tools very helpful.
- Familiarity and ease in working with LGBTQIA+ and other underserved populations
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively with a team in an agency setting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Completion of Masters Program (MCoun, MFT, or other related degree)
- Associate: Professional Counselor Associate or equivalent registered with OBLPCT
- Scheduling: Includes either two weekday evenings or a shortened Saturday to meet the scheduling needs of our community.
