Description
Provides or Assists in providing, Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services with Residents of the facility . Services may include but are not limited to crisis management, individual and group counseling, assesment, Training planning, MDS, discharge, planning, case management, linkage, referral.
Responsibilities
1. Accept and support the board of directors philosophy of care
2. Prepare and provide clinical relevant interventions
3. Intervene with problematic disruptive behaviors
4. Respond to Crisis per facility policy and procedure
5. Follow and help Maintain and enforce all facility rules and regulations
6. Complete all documentation as required by federal, state, local and facility policies
7. Assist in the over-all functioning of the behavior health unit
8. Attend and Participate in all team meetings and supervisions as scheduled by the PRSD
9. Report all signs of resident abuse or neglect immediately
10. Respect and enforce all resident rights
11. Work all shifts and start and end shifts on time
12. Maintain Personnel and Professional high standards Of practice
13. Assist in conducting Comprehensive Assessments
14. Assist in development in Interim Treatment plans, Comprehensive Treatment plans and quarterly evaluations
15. Assist in the completions of MDS and CAAs
16. Provide group and individual counseling sessions, as well as case management and discharging planning services.
17. Assist in providing crisis management services which may include the use of CPI ( Crisis Prevention and Intervention)techniques as trained by certified trainer
18. Assist in Managing milieu and mealtimes
19. Document assessments, interventions, contacts and provision of services.
20. Review Relevant Behavioral Reports and follow up with appropriate documentation
21. Participate in and seek out Clinical supervision
22. Assist in activity department with various activities
23. Assist in other departments in managing resident behavior
24. Attend in all services and participate in continuing education
25. Perform other Related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must possess Bachelor Degree in Psychology, social work, or related field
- One year experience working with mental ill population preferred

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $65885 - $98827 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
