Spurwink Services is looking for a Treatment Foster Care Coordinator to join our Team! Spurwink is a nationally accredited non-profit organization that provides a broad range of mental health and educational services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Spurwink's Treatment Foster Care Program currently serves children and families in 11 of the Maine counties.
DUTIES:
- Provide intake/assessment when clients are referred; including health screening, individual service plans and crisis plans within 72 hours of placement in a treatment foster home, as well as psychosocial evaluation within 30 days of admission.
- Know foster care regulations and ensure that all foster parents are in compliance with regulations.
- Provide leadership to the treatment team by facilitating Individual Service Plan team meetings, including quarterly reviews, and the collaborative development of treatment goals to include therapeutic skill building goals.
- Oversight of foster parent paperwork including the accurate and timely completion and submission of weekly progress notes, medication reconciliation forms, incident reports, medical documentation, clothing reimbursement, and mileage reimbursement.
- Support all parties in legal process involving foster children.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in closely related field preferred. Bachelor's degree and Licensed Social Worker required (LSW-c considered). Minimum of two to three years experience working in children's mental health, child welfare or treatment foster care preferred.
