Full-Time | Second Shift (6:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Victim Advocate to join our team at the Rape Crisis Center. This full-time, second-shift position plays a critical role in supporting survivors of sexual assault through direct services, advocacy, and resource coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis intervention and advocacy services to survivors.
  • Conduct individual appointments, case management, and maintain accurate case files.
  • Offer information, referrals, and coordinate services through ACT.
  • Triage sexual assault helpline calls and respond appropriately.
  • Monitor supplies and ensure facility upkeep.
  • Collaborate effectively with staff, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs), participants, and law enforcement.
  • Participate in networking, community events, and outreach activities as needed.
  • Participate in a rotating schedule for paid on-call hours.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis intervention skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Comfort working with diverse populations and in emotionally challenging situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail for case documentation.

Must have a valid and in good standing Florida driver’s license and valid auto insurance. Individuals must be able to pass a level 2 background check and pass a drug test.
