About Job

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled graduate-level clinical provider to join our dedicated Youth and Family team, serving the communities of Crookston and Fosston, Minnesota. This vital role focuses on delivering therapeutic and clinical mental health services to children and families in our region in-person and virtually.

This clinical trainee provider will work alongside a youth and family clinical team that is located across the Alluma service region. You will play an essential role in promoting mental wellness by helping children and families to develop the tools they need to understand, manage, and overcome emotional and behavioral challenges.

As a mental health clinical trainee, Alluma offers clinical supervision to support your growth and ongoing success to become a mental health professional. We provide board-certified supervisors for Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Counseling. This is a 12-month position with opportunities and flexibility in scheduling over summer if needed. Come join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family and group clinical services to children and families.
  • Engage with families to support treatment planning, communication, and coordination of care.
  • Create and implement interventions focused on early identification, prevention, and management of mental health conditions.
  • Complete screening, comprehensive evaluations, treatment planning, safety planning and provide treatment interventions to children ages 72 months and up.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with organizational and licensing standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field or qualified experience in the delivery of services to adults or children with mental illness.
  • Licensure or license eligibility in the state of Minnesota.
  • Experience or passion for working with children and families in a clinical setting at a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
