Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with behavioral challenges, particularly those on the autism spectrum. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborate with families and other professionals, and provide training and support to staff. Your expertise will be crucial in promoting positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

We are home an community based with opportunity to develop clinics in under served areas. This role is initially part time with countless possibilities for growth.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on data-driven analysis.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Document medical records accurately, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to provide holistic support for clients.
  • Provide training and support to staff on behavioral therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Stay current with research in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to enhance practice.

Skills

  • Proficient in data collection methods related to behavioral assessment and intervention.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to patient care.
  • Experience in patient assessment techniques tailored for individuals with autism.
  • Knowledgeable in medical documentation practices to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Familiarity with special education principles as they relate to behavioral therapy.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum, demonstrating compassion and understanding.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Competence in maintaining detailed medical records while adhering to confidentiality standards.
