• Deliver proactive and responsive individual counseling services to support the social, emotional, and academic development of each student on caseload
• Demonstrate caring and concern for all students by establishing a culture of high expectations for learning and behavior
• Implement and deliver counseling-related classroom lessons as needed
• Collaborate and consult with other support staff, administration, parents, caregivers, school-based partners, and educators to support student success
• Assist with the transition from middle to high school, including student course selection and high school registrations
• Maintain strong communication with families regarding student progress and needs
• Advise students and their families on all aspects of the college application process
• Participate in the planning and delivery of college and career-related events, including evening information sessions
• Assist with the coordination of standardized testing when needed
• Manage 504 Accommodation Plans
• Participate in IEP TEAM meetings, and collaborate with special education and support staff members
