Position Summary:
The Columbus Organization is seeking a qualified and compassionate School Psychologist to serve Beverly Hills Middle School in the Upper Darby School District. This full-time, school-based opportunity focuses on supporting the academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being of middle school students. Responsibilities include evaluations, counseling, behavioral interventions, and participation in multidisciplinary meetings, all while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Position Summary:
The Columbus Organization is seeking a qualified and compassionate School Psychologist to serve Beverly Hills Middle School in the Upper Darby School District. This full-time, school-based opportunity focuses on supporting the academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being of middle school students. Responsibilities include evaluations, counseling, behavioral interventions, and participation in multidisciplinary meetings, all while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations aligned with federal, state, and district standards
- Prepare thorough documentation, including evaluation reports, behavior plans, Medicaid billing, and legal documents
- Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and families both verbally and in writing
- Assist in developing and implementing general education interventions and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure timely evaluations and high-quality services
- Coordinate with outside agencies (e.g., mental health, social services, medical) to support student needs
- Maintain accurate records and complete documentation as required by the district's policies
- Complete and submit Medicaid billing and other documentation per district and payer guidelines
- Apply current research and legal precedent to inform educational and behavioral programming
- Provide supervision and guidance to school-based personnel such as paraprofessionals, interns, or practicum students (as assigned by the district)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a NASP- or APA-approved program in School Psychology
- Current and active School Psychologist license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Strong professional judgment and interpersonal skills
