Areas of OpportunityOutpatient TherapyOutpatient clinicians are responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for individuals and families. Services are offered to children, youth, and adults in both clinic and community-based settings.Programs Include:

Base Salary: Starting at $49,647 annually
Increases with licensure, experience, and educationSubstance Use TreatmentTherapists support recovery by conducting screenings and intakes, providing individual and group therapy, and facilitating referrals for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). Positions available in both inpatient and outpatient programs.Base Salary: Starting at $51,878 annually
Higher rates for licensed clinicians and those with SUD treatment experience (LCSW, LPC/MHSP, & LMFT)Social ServicesClinicians in this division support families through parenting education, supervised visitation, behavior modification, therapeutic foster care, and juvenile/criminal justice programs.Roles Include:
  • Parenting Class Facilitator
  • Therapeutic Foster Care Clinician
  • Juvenile/Criminal Justice Clinician
Base Salary: Starting at $49,647 annually
Salary based on experience and licensureVictim ServicesTherapists support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other trauma by providing outreach, therapeutic counseling, and crisis response. Safe housing and hotline services are available through these programs.Examples of Positions:
  • SACET Therapist (Sexual Assault Center of East Tennessee)
  • Domestic Violence Therapist
  • Violent Crime Clinician
Base Salary: Starting at $50,571 annually
Salary based on experience and licensureResidential ServicesInpatient services offer clients a structured environment for recovery from co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Clinicians provide individual and group therapy, education, and aftercare planning.Programs Include:
  • CenterPointe Residential
  • EmPATH
  • Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU)
  • Gateway
Base Salary: Starting at $54,063 - $58,478 annually
Salary based on licensure and experienceCrisis ServicesCrisis clinicians conduct assessments, provide immediate intervention, and coordinate aftercare for individuals experiencing acute behavioral health crises. Work may take place in facilities or in the community.Roles Include:
  • Walk-In Crisis Center Clinician
  • Mobile Crisis Clinician
  • Children’s Crisis Clinician
Base Salary: Starting at $56,270 annually
