$2,300 per week

About The Position
**Job Title:** Acute Care Social Worker (Medical) – Licensed/Clinical

**Job Specialty:** Behavioral Health

**Job Duration:** 26 weeks preferred; will consider 13 weeks for the right candidate/skill set

**Shift:** Day - 5x8 - 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM - 40 Hours

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of supervised experience providing behavioral health direct services

**License:** License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), preferred. Candidates require an Alaska License before start date.

**Certifications:** Proof of completed COVID vaccinations required

**Must-Have:**
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Nursing with a specialty in Mental Health
- Experience in a cross-cultural setting, preferably with Native American cultures
- Valid Driver’s License and a copy of current driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Basic computer knowledge and standard office equipment usage skills
- Advanced written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in clinical assessment skills

**Job Description:**

- Conduct consultations for individuals experiencing emotional, mental, or behavioral disturbances upon medical professional requests in acute care clinics.
- Provide brief evaluations to reduce symptom impact and/or coordinate referrals to other service providers within three contacts.
- Perform essential duties satisfactorily with accommodation available for individuals with disabilities.
- Complete credentialing file for submission by the specified deadline.
- Use Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, specifically Cerner.
- Maintain compliance with all organizational policies regarding care delivery and documentation.
