BEHAVIOR HEALTH TECHNICIAN(BHT-ABA) / REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN (RBT)Matrix was founded by parents of two children with special needs.   • Have a certification as a BCaBA.
  • Have a certification as an RBT.
  • Have a bachelor's degree and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task list as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services.
  • Must have a PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, FBI Clearances, valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities
  • Provides face-to-face behavioral interventions to implement Individualized Treatment Plans
  • Delivers and models treatment interventions in the center-based location (may include hours in the home, community, and school to ensure full-time status)
  • Provides positive reinforcement to the clients with guided feedback to families
  • Implements consequences for inappropriate actions as agreed upon
  • Communicates with peers and co-workers and exchanges information which is important in achieving the individual goals for the clients
  • Completes all required electronic billing in accordance with company policies
  • Communicates and works with BC-ABA and BCBA on implementation of treatment programs, including social programs and VB-MAPP
Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).Job Posted by ApplicantPro
