The Team Member Care Advocate offers a convenient and timely resource for the employees of a large nationwide retailer to receive immediate connections to community and company resources. This role can further serve as a partner to help address social determinants of health concerns and other related wellbeing challenges presented by this company's employees. This role will sit onsite at two of the client’s locations in the Los Angeles area. This hybrid role will sit onsite at multiple of the customer’s location around Los Angeles, CA. The role is Monday-Friday flexing between the hours of 9am-5:30pm PST. Responsibilities include identifying and making referrals for work-life, financial & legal, and basic needs support; linking employees to appropriate local and national resources via one-on-one consultation and referral lists; working with customer internal care teams on behalf of employees in need of emergency funding and resource referrals; offering consultation related to navigating mental health resources and available workplace benefits; assisting in linking employees to appropriate mental health treatment options and providing support throughout applications and follow-ups; promoting Spring Health benefits through relationship building, events, and wellness activities; electronically documenting and tracking metrics/outcomes; representing Spring Health and supporting program goals; communicating with local points of contact and partners; submitting reporting documentation; attending customer meetings; embedding in the customer culture and building strong working relationships; developing trusting relationships with team members; demonstrating cultural humility and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a similar field, bilingual in Spanish and English, experience working with diverse populations and social work industry, ability to balance multiple stakeholders' needs, flexibility and creativity, knowledge of community resources, excellent communication skills, tech-savvy, stable transportation, and located within a 10 mile radius of the job location. Experience with retail employees, crisis resource connection, and managing work-life balance is a plus.
