Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with severe mental illnesses and potential co-occurring substance use disorders, promoting their independence and reducing hospital admissions. You will provide personalized services, training in independent living skills, crisis intervention, advocacy, and supportive counseling in a residential mental health setting.By closely monitoring and documenting client progress, you will help achieve the broader goal of improving community placement and supporting recovery from substance use disorders.
