About Job

A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available to support a K-12 school with a high autism population and significant emotional needs. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in behavior analysis within a specialized educational setting committed to positive student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to students' needs
  • Provide direct consultation and support to teachers, staff, and families to promote effective behavior management strategies
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and data collection to evaluate program effectiveness and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a safe, supportive learning environment for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and emotional challenges

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working as a BCBA, preferably in educational or school-based settings
  • Demonstrated ability to work with students with Autism and emotional/behavioral disorders
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with educators, parents, and other professionals

Location: Position is based in a K-12 school located in Frederick, Maryland.

Duration and Schedule: This is a contract position for the upcoming school year with a start date of August 16.
