Licensed Therapist Opportunities in BH

  • $1250/80 hours yearly for continuing education

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field with current professional license in the state of Idaho (LPC, LMSW, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW).
  • Working knowledge in the field of substance use disorders and medication assisted treatment modalities with the desire to grow and develop in the field of substance use.
  • Familiarity with ASAM criteria and levels of care.
  • One year work experience in a clinical mental health setting.
  • Successful clearance of Department of Health and Welfare criminal history background check.
  • Understanding and adherence to ethical standards of the respective licensure board.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with people who face barriers to care.
  • Reliable and courteous.
  • Ability to work as a team member.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current CADC or ACADC certification.
  • Two or more years' experience assessing and counseling clients.
  • One or more years of work experience with clients struggling with varying substance use behaviors.
  • Experience working in a medical setting, crisis mental health and/or detoxification setting, or as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of computer and email systems, as well as EHR.
  • Familiarity with State of Idaho Health & Welfare Mental Health system.
