Job Description
This part-time, non-tenure track position within the College of Arts and Sciences will deliver quality undergraduate instruction for one or more courses as needed. The courses might include General Psychology, Introductory Statistics, and Reading and Research. The ideal candidate will hold office hours, grade papers, mentor students, and adhere to the University standards in teaching, research, and service.
Responsibilities:
- Delivers quality undergraduate instruction for one or more courses as needed.
- Holds office hours, grade papers, mentor students, and adhere to the University
standards in teaching, research, and service. Performs other duties as assigned by department head.
- Doctorate degree in Psychology from an accredited university.
- One year of prior teaching experience at a university or college.
- Candidates that are ABD will be considered.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
