About Job

A Correctional Facility is seeking a Clinical Psychologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in North Florida.
The average caseload for the psychologist varies but typically includes seeing suicide watch patients (0-5 per day), providing services in the confinement unit, and assisting with other duties and coordination within the department. While there are 800 individuals on the mental health caseload at Graceville, this is shared among five mental health professionals, including the psychologist, a midlevel psychiatry provider, and a telehealth psychiatrist. The psychologist's caseload is generally lower than that of the MHPs and psychiatry providers, but it may involve more complex cases.
