About Job
This position offers an opportunity to serve as a School Psychologist working within a K-12 educational setting located in Hamilton, OH. The contract spans the full school year from August 18th through May 28th, encompassing 197 billable days. This role involves supporting students across elementary and high school levels with a thorough understanding of the Evaluation Team Report (ETR) process as outlined in Ohio educational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to support student learning needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Complete and manage the ETR process in compliance with Ohio state regulations.
- Provide consultative services and interventions aimed at promoting student success and emotional well-being.
- Maintain detailed documentation and timely communication with all stakeholders involved in the special education process.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist licensure or certification.
- Proven experience working within K-12 school settings.
- Strong knowledge of Ohios ETR procedures and special education laws.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Hours:
- Elementary school hours begin at 8:00 AM.
- High school hours begin at 7:15 AM.
