Easterseals South Carolina is looking to hire for a part-time position with potential to be full-time Early Intervention Family Trainer position in Camden, SC .

The Family Trainer provides special instruction on behalf of parents/caregivers and their children with developmental delays and/or special needs.

Business hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 5:00 pm

This is a Part-time position with potential to be full-time.

Daily travel is required for direct service delivery with caregivers in the client’s home/daycare/community. This is NOT a remote position.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Educate and coach families on effective strategies to help their child reach developmental milestones and improve daily routines.
• Assist the family in understanding the special needs and development of their child.
• Engage in Family Training with the caregiver and child in their home or daycare setting.

Benefits:

• Training pay rate: $30.00 per hour for the first 90 days.
• Pay Rates after training: $30.00 per billable hour, $12.00 per nonbillable hour, $7.25 travel rate per hour.
• Extensive Travel Required - Mileage paid - $0.40 per mile

Qualifications:

• Minimum of an approved Bachelor’s degree or higher in the following: Child/Human Development, Education, Early Childhood, Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Elementary Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, Psychology, Public Health, Social Work, or Sociology.
• Minimum 1-year experience working with children ages 0 – 5 years.
• CPR certification required.
