Our practice is actively seeking a licensed psychologist to join our team ASAP.

A bit about us:

We were founded in 2018 and serve adolescents and adults living and working in Central Brooklyn. Our client population consists largely of individuals in their late-20's to mid-40's, including couples, university students, and new parents, as well as professionals in tech, medical, performing arts, and creative fields. We focus on depth-oriented, growth-oriented, long-term, relational therapy. Additionally, our practice specializes in gender and sexual diversity. Duties:

• Hold a minimum of 25 45-minute individual and/or couples therapy sessions per week
• Attend weekly group supervision and case conference with entire staff
• Complete a simple session note after each session
• ***Psychologist is NOT responsible for client recruitment or billing.***

The best fit for this position is a psychologist who:

• Works from a contemporary psychodynamic, relational/interpersonal orientation
• Uses a sexuality and gender affirmative therapy approach
• Has experience and/or interest in working with clients who are members of the LGBTQI+ communities
• Is flexible in practice, adept at meeting each client according to their individual needs and capabilities
• Has experience and/or interest in couples/relationship therapy
• Is interested in long-term, depth-oriented therapy

Requirements:

• Doctorate degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology
• Psychodynamic relational/interpersonal orientation (integrative in interventions)
• Availability evenings until 9PM (We have a high demand for evening appointments and require this availability while you build your caseload.)

Pay & Benefits:

• This is an employment (W-2) position paid according to clinical services rendered.
• Licensed psychologist pay starts $130 per clinical hour. (Expected to earn between $115,000 and $150,000 your first year and grow from there.)
• 40 hours of Paid Time Off per calendar year (accrued)
• Health Insurance
• $250 per year provided for CE credits
