About Job

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. This role will commence in January 2026 and continue through the end of the school year, providing critical psychological services within a dynamic K-12 school setting located in Oceanside, California.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs and support eligibility determinations.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective intervention plans.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed to promote students' social-emotional well-being.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert insights.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential or license appropriate for K-8 educational settings.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in schools from Kindergarten through middle school.
  • Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and developing individualized interventions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, and external providers.
