Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to develop effective intervention plans
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services tailored to middle school students
- Participating in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contributing expert recommendations
- Utilizing data and research-based practices to inform decision-making and improve student outcomes
- Supporting positive behavioral interventions and promoting mental health awareness within the school community
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with middle school-aged students in educational settings
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, psychological testing, and counseling techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality
